This year's EUSA Convention for the organisers of European Universities Championships 2011 will take place in Bled, Slovenia between November 12 and 14, 2010.

 

The convention is intended for the Organisers of the European Universities Championships and EUSA Technical delegates. We expect one or two representatives of each EUC 2011 Organising Committee to take part in the Convention.

 

During the Convention we will give a general briefing on the terms and conditions as well as on examples for best practice. Subsequently, the Technical Delegates and the EUSA representatives will meet with the Organising Committees of their respective sport in order to check all details of the organisation.

 

The 2-day convention will feature various aspects of the organisation of EUSA championships, including an overall presentation, technical regulations and requirements, presentation of the volunteer programme, registration and accreditation system, medical requirements, and other topics.

 

Participants will be accommodated in the 4-star Hotel Park in Bled. Arrival date and place is Friday, November 12, 2010 morning at the Ljubljana Airport. Participation Fee per Person is 250 EUR for single-room use, and 200 EUR for double-room use. The fee includes 2 overnights with breakfast in the Hotel Park ****, dinner on Friday and Saturday, Lunch on Saturday, transportation from/to the Airport, free access to fitness & pool, local taxes.

 

Deadline for entries is September 12, 2010. National University Sport Associations - EUSA members, and the Organising committees should submit their registration via EUSA internal area, where more information, including the programme is available.
