EUSA Championships underway

EUSA Championships underway

The season of this year's European Universities Championships has begun with the Badminton event opening on Monday in Uppsala, Sweden. A total of 17 sports will be featured in EUSA Championships held in 2013.

While registration is already closed for many of the sports, university teams (or individuals in some sports) are still invited to grab the few places left in some of the sports to be held in the summer months; namely Rugby 7s, Karate, Beach Volleyball and Basketball 3x3. The registrations for these sports will close as they fill up; the deadline otherwise is June 1, 2013 (and waiting until the last day of the deadline is not advised).

Next EUSA Championship to be organised: Rugby 7s

Events which will be held from September onwards also still accept new entries - Tennis, Rowing, Golf, Bridge, Judo and Taekwondo.

EUC Taekwondo is the last on the programme for 2013

For team sports - Table Tennis, Volleyball, Handball, Football and Futsal all places are full for this year, and the next chance to take part in these sports will be in 2014 at the 2nd European Universities Games in Rotterdam.

If you wish to participate in our Championships or other events offered by EUSA, please contact the National University Sports Association in your country or contact the EUSA Office for additional information.
