EUSA-BUCS meeting in Ljubljana

A delegation representing the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) visited the office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) on Thursday, February 25, 2016.

Mr Bill Thompson, BUCS International Advisory Group member and Head of Sport and Leisure Services at City University London together with Mr Neil Rogers, BUCS Head of International Programmes paid a visit to the EUSA Office, where they were received by EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Office Manager Ms Sara Rozman, Sports Manager Mr Patrik Perosa, Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl.

The aim of the meeting was to review the activities between the two organisations, identify areas for improvement and to strengthen cooperation in the future. BUCS is one of the founding members in EUSA, and athletes from the United Kingdom have been taking part in EUSA events since the first European Universities Championships have been introduced in 2001.
