EUSA #Beactive team building before EUG2016

European University Sports Association (EUSA) organised a special activities full team building and training on June 13 and 14 in Slovenia for its staff members and core volunteers, who will actively contribute to the European Universities Games this summer, starting in less than a month.

The primary aim of the two-day training was to get to know each other better, and strengthen the cooperation within the organisation. The teambuilding also emphasised the importance of physical activity, enjoying and preserving nature.

Consultation before the departure

EUSA team first visited Bled, which will also be the location of the EUSA Convention for the organisers of the European Universities Championships 2017, and will be held in September during the European Week of Sport.

Many activities reflected the #Beactive motto; the first one was rafting on the Sava river in the upper Sava valley.

Rafting

Activities continued with a hike to Tamar in the Triglav national park, in the arms of the Julian Alps, and observing the springs of Sava Dolinka.

The first day concluded with social activities before starting the next day with jogging and cycling from Kranjska gora to Planica.

Cycling

EUSA is committed to provide a great event this summer, in close cooperation with the local organisers in Zagreb and Rijeka.
