On the invitation of the Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF), representatives of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) – Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA President and Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Secretary General, visited Budapest on March 25, 2017 to attend the Annual General Assembly and Gala, held on the occasion of 110th Anniversary of the federation.

The commemoration of the HUSF foundation was held at the Godollo Royal Palace and was attended by HUSF Members, Rectors and Presidents of the legal successor universities and university sport clubs, and several invited guests.



HUSF President Mr Adam Kiss and State Secretary for Sport Ms Tunde Szabo addressed the participants of the event. On the occasion, common signature of the copy of the founding document was signed by the representatives of the founders.



EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek also addressed the audience and stressed the important role HUSF plays within EUSA. EUSA President also congratulated the oldest EUSA member federation for their 110th Anniversary and presented a gift to HUSF President.



During the celebration, HUSF awarded the several individuals and partner institutions for their past achievements.



The Annual HUSF General Assembly was organized after the celebrations, followed by lunch and horse show at the Lázár Equestrian Park.
