EUSA attends a regional development workshop in Budapest

A regional development workshop has been organised on September 28, 2015 at the University of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary. Representatives from Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia together with the Hungarian host and representative of EOSE and EUSA attended the meeting. The European University Sport Association (EUSA) was represented by Ms Anett Fodor, Project Assistant/EVS.

The workshop was organised and coordinated by the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE), which is specialized in linking together sport, education and employment.

Regional meeting

The aim of the meeting was to exchange ideas and discuss the principle challenges of each organization in the field of education and employment in sport sector. Moreover, to obtain further information about EU policies on sport, education and employment and to strengthen regional collaboration, networking and exchange of best practices between countries.

Joining for the workshop was important for discovering further and brand new ways of the work of EOSE and its network. The workshop helped to get a picture about new challenges and realities of the sport sector and obtain an update of the latest EU policies.

Group discussion

EUSA has worked with EOSE in a few EU-funded projects so far, and is exploring the possibilities of a long-term cooperation in the future.
