On the occasion of the FISU World University Games Winter 2025 in Torino, Italy, EUSA engaged in many working meetings and events during a 4-day visit.

EUSA President, Adam Roczek, and EUSA Secretary General, Matjaz Pecovnik held a working meeting with FISU President Leonz Eder, and FISU Secretary General Matthias Remund. This was the first working meeting since the FISU Secretary General had entered their new role.

EUSA President and Secretary General also took the opportunity to hold working meetings with some EUSA member federations and respective institutional bodies, including: a delegation from Ukraine, led by Matvii Bidnyi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine; Gagik Sargsyan, President of Armenian Ski Federation, and Karen Giloyan RA Sport Deputy Minister and WADA Board Member; Riccardo D'Elicio, CUS Torino President and Vice President of FISU World Winter University Games Torino 2025, Maria Grazia Grippo, President of Torino City Council.

EUSA Education and Development Manager, Sara Rozman attended FISU World Conference, organised alongside the Winter Games, including the Sprint Generation Challenge which gave university students the opportunity to propose project concepts in the fields of sustainability, democracy, and food.

EUSA Events Manager, Liam Smith and Sports Manager, Miha Zvan focused on the many sports events taking place across Torino and the Piemonte region. With many competing athletes representing European nations, they had the chance to discuss with respective EUSA member federations on the topic of university winter sports.

They also had the opportunity to meet with members of the European Universities Winter Championships 2025 Organising Committee, confirming key aspects of the second edition of the event. The EUC Winter Sports 2025 will take place in Val di Zoldo, Italy, between December 15–18, and will include Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow Volleyball.
