On September 27, Secretary General of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), Mr Matjaž Pečovnik, Sports Manager Mr Miha Žvan and Mr Milan Žvan, EUSA Executive Committee Member met with Mr Ilan Kowalsky, Israel Academic Sports Association representative & EUSA Technical Commission Vice-Chair, at the EUSA Office in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Topics discussed on the meeting were cooperation between the organizations, the upcoming 2023 International Games that will be held in Eilat, from March 20-23, including a variety of sports, 22 in total, as well as some side events, such as the ASA Sports Leadership Conference.

The representative of ASA officially invited the representatives of EUSA to participate in the event. Upon agreement, between the two parties, was also the inclusion of the 2023 International Games in the EUSA calendar, for further promotion of the event among universities.

The 2023 ASA International Games is the 54th championship, the oldest ASA championship. Expected are about 1,500 male and female student. 

EUSA is always eager to collaborate with partners for future, stronger development of university sport.
