EUSA and WAKO Europe meet to discuss Kickboxing

On the occasion of the European Kickboxing Championship, which took place from October 23-29, 2016 in Maribor (SLO) and is a part of is part of qualifications for The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw; the World Associations of Kickboxing Organisation (WAKO) President Mr Borislav Pelevic together with WAKO Europe President Mr Roy Baker met with Secretary General of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) Mr Matjaz Pecovnik.

The topics of discussion was the investigation of possibilities of including Kickboxing in the program of European Universities Championships in the future.

Kickboxing

The representatives of WAKO presented to EUSA Secretary General impressive statistics on the number of students practicing kickboxing and taking part on the kickboxing championships. It was agreed to organize the meeting of EUSA and WAKO Europe in the near future to continue the started discussions on possibilities of future cooperation.
