Eurosport won the Sports Channel Award at the prestigious Eutelsat TV Awards in Venice on Friday 30 November. The Jury of international media experts cited Eurosport’s commitment to live sport, record audiences during the London 2012 Olympic Games and commitment to technical innovation in awarding the prize ahead of Sky Sport (Italy) and Sport Plus (Russia). The Eutelsat TV Awards is a unique international event recognising the quality of thematic satellite TV channels, with over 120 channels from 19 countries participating in this year's competition.

Eurosport, in partnership with FISU, produces a monthly TV show called CAMPUS, dedicated to international university sport and also brings special HD coverage for Summer and Winter Universiades.
