European Universities Tennis Championship 2017 ready

Camilo José Cela University in Madrid welcomed EUSA Technical Delegate for Tennis on November 23 and 24 for an inspection visit, in preparation for the European Universities Tennis Championship 2017.

EUSA Technical delegate Mr Daniel Studer travelled to Madrid where he met the representatives of the Local organising committee lead by Mr Jose Luis Lesma and Mr Aitor Canibe Sanchez, and their team.

Inspection visit at the UCJC

A general presentation about the event was held, covering topics of project management and organisational structure, as well as specific areas of transportation, protocol, activities, opening and closing ceremony, security and accreditation, medical services, catering and volunteers. The participants also visited students dormitories, sport facilities and catering venue.

Indoor and outdoor courts

The organisers will provide a compact event, having all facilities within the Camilo Jose Cela University (UCJC) Campus. Registration is already open, so teams are warmly welcome to contact their national university sports body and join us!
