European survey on sport for students with disabilities

European survey on sport for students with disabilities

As we have already reported, the European Paralympic Committee (EPC) and the European University Sports Association (EUSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding earlier this year.

The agreement is intended to provide the inclusion of higher education students with disabilities and impairments in the EUSA program, especially in the frame of the European Universities Games, and the establishment of cooperation between the members at the national level.

Discussion during the European Universities Games 2014 about opportunities sport offers for disabled athletes

In order to prepare events for students with disabilities within the next edition of the European Universities Games, which will be held in Zagreb and Rijeka (Croatia) in 2016, EUSA and EPC are conducting a survey, to get more information about student athletes with disabilities in Europe.

EUSA member federations and the governing Paralympic bodies in our member states have been asked to complete a short survey regarding sport and students with disabilities and impairments.
