European candidates for the 2011 Universiades
At the 2006 EUSA General Assembly, the members of the European bidding cities for Universiades 2011 were also present: Poznan, Murcia, Kazan, Maribor, and also Erzurum.

SUMMER UNIVERSIADE
The decision on the organisers will be taken in Torino (ITA) on January 16, 2007 at the FISU Executive Committee Meeting just before the start of the 2007 Winter Universiade.
After the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok (THA), the Summer Universiade 2009 will be held in Belgrade (SRB), while Harbin (CHN) will host the 2009 Winter Universiade.
