Welcome athletes and fans! Debrecen and Miskolc are ready to host the best Universities’ teams for the 17 sports in the program.

These two cities for the next few days will be the place in which many cultures and personalities will get in touch and rival for the title of the best University team in each competition.

Today, we kick off the event with arrivals of the athletes that are going to compete in  Futsal for Debrecen and Volleyball, and Chess for Miskolc.

These teams started their journey with the accreditation process and then moved to their new home for the rest of their competition. 

The whole day revolved around the first teams and individuals arriving, checking their excitement, fullfiling the areas of both university campuses with the sporting spirit. 

Tonya Blickaeuser from German Sport University of Cologne told us that she expected “to play volleyball, learning from different countries and first to have a lot of fun with the other universities”

Julie and Lina from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology " expect much higher intesity and much stronger teams that we met in Student Championship in Norway. 

Anej, a referee, that came along with the team from Unviersity of Maribor, is excited for his first time refeering on an EUSA event. "Until now it is great,  I hope it will go on and be as good as [it is] now. I am really surprised about the organisation, it’s really great. "

Excitement is in the air as teams gear up for an incredible competition, as well as the tiredness from the long traveling day. 

Today’s arrivals are a great sign of what we can expect in the following days of the Games: fun, sports, competitive spirit, striving for the win and having the best time. 

Tommorow is the day for the first General Technical Meetings and more arrivals!
