EUG2022 Supervision Commission meets online
On Tuesday, February 16, an online Supervision Commission meeting was held between EUSA and the hosts of the 2022 European Universities Games in Lodz, Poland, as the local organisers provided updates of their continual progress.
Representatives from the EUG2022 Organising Committee included TUL Rector Mr Krzysztof Jozwik; TUL AZS Sport Club Vice-Chair Ms Ewa Brochocka; City of Lodz Representative Mr Maciej Adamczyk and EUG 2022 Coordinator Ms Tatsiana Andrushka.
Present on behalf of EUSA was EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek; EUSA Vice-President and Supervision Commission Chair Mr Haris Pavletic; EUSA Secretary General and Supervision Commission Member Mr Matjaz Pecovnik; EUSA Executive Committee and Supervision Commission Members Mr Dmitry Kiselev and Mr Bruno Barracosa, as well as EUSA Sports Manager and Supervision Commission Member Mr Besim Aliti.
Following a short introduction, the Lodz Organising Committee delivered a general report, updating all present on the progress made in various organisational fields.
A sport report was then given, following which a public relations, media and marketing report was presented, before an open discussion concluded the virtual meeting.
With EUG2022 set to be the biggest university sports event in Poland in over two decades, local organisers are hard at work, ensuring all deadlines are met in order to produce a successful and memorable event next year.
