EUSA Supervision Commission representatives, Mr Haris Pavletic, SVC President and Mr Besim Aliti, EUSA Sports Manager, visited Coimbra on March 25-26 and met the Organizing Committee Representatives in order to discuss the progress of the key organizational areas of the European Universities Games 2018, which will be held from July 15-28, 2018.

First day of the meeting was focused on Accommodation, Sport, Transport and Volunteers progress of the functional areas, followed by the discussion on the Progress of IT, Communications & Media, Medical, Security, Ceremonies and Protocol Progress the second day in the premises of University of Coimbra.



The meeting followed just two weeks after the Progress Report of the Organizing Committee presented in Paris during the EUSA Executive Committee meeting and we can once again emphasize the significant progress in the organizational readiness of the key functional areas of the Organizing Committee, which is strongly committed to stage the biggest multi-sport event in the history of Portugal.

The next Supervision Commission meeting will be held in May, 6-7, which will be followed by NUSA Coordination (HOD) meeting May 8-10.
