The city of Vukovar in Croatia, will be hosting the European Universities Water Polo Championship in 2025. The event will take place next summer from 7-13 July.

An inspection visit was organised from 29-30 November 2024, where EUSA Technical Delegate for Water Polo Tamas Kovacs Csatlos, and EUSA Sports Manager Miha Zvan visited the Croatian city of Vukovar, to check on the ongoing preparations on behalf of the European University Sports Association.

Representing the Organising Committee the meeting was attended by Ruza Veselcic Sijakovic on behalf of the City of Vukovar, Igor Gavric on behalf of the Vukovar-Srijem County, and on behalf of the Lavoslav Ruzicka Polytechnic in Vukovar Drazen Pejic, President of the SUSVEVU Association, Vice-Dean Sanja Gongeta, and other members of the Organizing Committee Marko Kunac and Dusko Simic.

The Inspection Visit team visited the Vukovar Swimming Pool, where they had a meeting to discuss and check formal, technical, and logistic requirements, and had the pleasure to also attend the opening ceremony of the local UniSport H2O Water Polo and Swimming event that gathered this year eight higher education institutions and gives direct qualification to EUSA EUC Water Polo 2025 to the winner teams.

Following the technical visit to the sports venue, accommodation buildings, catering and accreditation areas, and other functional locations, the delegation preceded the meetings by discussing general competition details, including the competition days, number of teams and format of the competition.

The EUSA team expressed their gratitude to the OC delegation for their warm hospitality and congratulated them on their exceptional preparatory efforts. EUSA highlighted the organizers' dedication to hosting a championship that is both technically demanding and fosters an engaging and supportive environment for students.
