The office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) in Ljubljana hosted on Wednesday, January 7, the representative of this year’s European Universities Table Tennis Championship.

Mr Markos Michaelides from the University of Geneva visited the EUSA Office where he met with the EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Sports Manager Mr Patrik Perosa and Communications Manager Mr Andrej Pisl.

Focus of the discussion was the preparation and details of the 7th European Universities Table Tennis Championship which will be organised in Geneva, Switzerland between June 19 and 23, 2015. An inspection visit is also scheduled later this month, to set all the details and ensure optimal conditions for the participants.

Geneva, as second largest in Switzerland, and its University are looking forward to welcoming participants from all over Europe to take part in this event. This is the third European Universities Championship to be hosted in Geneva and one of the two EUSA sports events hosted in Switzerland this year, making the Swiss University Sports Federation (SHSV) one of the most active members in EUSA.

Registration for this year’s Championship is still open, so interested teams are invited to take part!
