EUC Table Tennis 2007 opens
The 1st European Universities Table Tennis Championship officially started today in Ostrava, CZE. 25 university teams (16 men and 9 women) with 110 participants from 12 European Countries take part on the event, what is a great success for the first edition of the event.
The EUC was officialy opened by Mr. Tomas Cermak, the Rector of the Technical University of Ostrava. Participants were welcomed also by Mr. Adam Roczek, the EUSA EC Representative and Mr. Vaclav Samberger, the Secretary General of the Czech University Sports Federation.
The event will finish on Sunday, June 24, 2007.
