On Friday, July 9, the offical press conference of the 4th European Universities Rugby 7's Championship took place in order to present the championship to the media and local authorities.

 

The press conference was held at the University of Cordoba Press Room and was quite succesful.

 

Presentation was lead by Prof. Mr. Manuel Torres Aguilar, Vice-Rector of the University of Cordoba and OC chairman, Mr. Alfonso Igualada Pedraza, Treasury and Sport responsible of Cordoba Town Hall, Mr. Juan Torres Aguilar, Tourism, Commerce and Sports regional government delegate, and Mr. Pablo Lozano Dueñas, Youth and Sports delegate from Cordoba's provincial coorporation.

 

The championship will officially start on Wednesday, July 14 in the Spanish city of Cordoba, and will last until July 17. 8 male and 6 female university teams are expected to participate. More information about the championship is available at http://www.eusarugby2010.com
