The city of Bydgoszcz, Poland, will be hosting the European Universities Championship in Rowing, in 2025. The event will take place from September 18-21.

An inspection visit was organised on November 3 and 4, where EUSA Technical Delegate for Rowing Lionel Girard and EUSA Assistant Technical Delegate Agata Zieleniewska, represented the European University Sports Association to check the ongoing preparations in the Polish city. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, present during the inspection visit were: Kasia Domanska, President of the O.C.; Anna Tataruch, Vice President representing the Polish Rowing Federation (PZTW); Maja Pokorniecka, Head of Communications and International Relations; and Dorota Zieleniewska.

Following the meetings were visits to the sports facilities and the competition site.
The Inspection Visit team visited the event's official venue, which will be Brdyujscie Regatta Course, the same location as the previous EUC Rowing held in Bydgoszcz in 2023. Races will be held over a 1000m distance, on 6 lanes, and the training area will be limited to 1500m to facilitate water safety during all the EUC, from the official opening of the racing venue until its official closure.

Following, the visits included the finish tower, where offices for EUSA, the Jury, the Organizing Committee, the announcer, and race management will be located.

Subsequently, the visits were moved to the accreditation centre, the accommodation facilities for participants, EUSA family and the jury.

Catering, transportation and communications prospects were then presented, together with the General Technical Meeting plan, and medical and security protocols valid for the whole event duration. Volunteers management and a preliminary plan for the ceremonies were also presented.

Finally, a debriefing meeting took place at the AZS Bydgoszcz offices with the Organizing Committee, joined by Lech Olszewski, Head of Sports, Krzystof Koscianski, Sponsorship Area, and Leszek Lemanczyk, responsible for the Sports Area for security and medical aspects - which concluded the visit.

EUSA thanks the OC for the hospitality and congratulated them on the great preparations so far, highlighting that the organizers are planning to organize a technically demanding championship with a very good student atmosphere, building on the experience gained in a previous edition of the event held in Bydgoszcz in 2023.
