EUC Rowing 2024 has come to an end

The European Universities Rowing Championship 2024 has finally concluded on August 31 with an exciting Closing Ceremony at Jarun Lake, Zagreb, Croatia.
Amost 400 participants from 68 universities across 17 European countries took part in this year’s 14th edition of the event.

The final day of EUSA EUC Rowing 2024 was a showcase of extraordinary talent, determination, and sportsmanship. The competition brought together the best university rowing teams from across Europe, culminating in a series of exciting finals that saw athletes pushing their limits in pursuit of victory.

As the crews took to the water, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation, each stroke carrying the weight of months, if not years, of preparation. The spectators, both on-site and those watching via livestream, were treated to a display of sheer athleticism and strategic prowess, as universities vied for the top honours in their respective categories.

The medals and awards were presented by Mr Haris Pavletic, EUSA first vice-president and President of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF), Mr Lionel Girard, EUSA TD Rowing, Ms Agata Zieleniewska, EUSA ATD Rowing, and Ms Eszter Gulyas - EUSA Sports Coordinator.

This year's championship has set a high standard for future competitions, and as the final ceremonies concluded, there was a unanimous sense of anticipation for what the next edition will bring.

The Best NUSA of 2024 Zagreb EUSA Rowing was given to Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUN).

The event concluded with the EUSA flag passing from the President of the Organising Committee of the EUC Rowing 2024 to the organizers of the next edition of the Championship, which will be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland in September 2025.
