On proposal of the Organizing Committee from Coimbra and confirmation by EUSA Executive Committee, the dates of this year’s European Universities Judo Championship have been changed to October 3-6, 2013.

Arrivals of the teams are expected on October 2 and 3, while departure is on October 7. The event was initially planned to be held in August, which is known as summer holidays month in Europe. New dates have been introduced also in order to attract more participants and offer better conditions for the competitors. 

The European University Sports Association (EUSA), the University Sports Federation of Portugal (FADU) and the Organising Committee therefore invite athletes to participate in the 2nd European Universities Judo Championship which will be organised in Coimbra, Portugal between October 3 and 6, 2013. The deadline for applications has been determined as June 1, 2013.
