The capital of Croatia, Zagreb will host the European Universities Futsal Championship in 2025. The event will take place next summer from 17-25 July.

An inspection visit was organised on 27-28 November 2024, where EUSA Technical Delegate for Futsal, Tomasz Aftanski, EUSA Assistant Technical Delegate Tihana Nemcic Bojic, and EUSA Sports Manager Miha Zvan visited Zagreb, to check on the ongoing preparations on behalf of the European University Sports Association.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, present during the 2-day inspection visit were Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF) General Secretary Nikola Vincetic, Zagreb Academic Sports Federation President Davor Pavlovic and Vice President Sanja Curkovic, Zagreb Academic Sports Federation General Secretary Mate Vuksic, Zagreb Academic Sports Federation Sports Director Marko Lepoglavec, and Student Council of the University of Zagreb President Katja Popovic.

The inspection visit team visited the accommodation facilities, then moved to the training venues, GTM and accreditation centres. The meetings were set to discuss and check formal, technical, and logistic requirements.

During the second day, the meetings focused on the visits to the competition venues, namely SSD Pescenica, SD Sutinska Vrela, SD Tresnjevka and SD Drazen Petrovic, followed by office recaps and evaluations.

EUSA team thanks the OC for the hospitality and congratulated them on the great preparations so far, highlighting that the organizers are planning to organize a technically demanding championship with a very good student atmosphere.
