EUC Futsal 2009 finished
The 6th EUC Futsal 2009 was organised in Podgorica (MNE) from July 20-26, 2009.
210 participants were representing 16 men university teams from 15 European countries. Players scored average 7 goals per match and received average 2 cards per match. There was only one red card that means the real winner of the tournament was the idea of fair-play.

The organizers from University Sport Association from Montenegro provided also a great trip to the Montenegrin beach for all participants and presented a regional cultural programme.
After a magnificent final match against Sumy State University (UKR) team from University of Malaga (ESP) received gold medals.

Top scorer of the championship is Sergio Arriaza Leiva form University of Malaga (ESP).
The fair play award goes to Tampere University of Technology from Finland.
FIFA international referee Mr. Antonio Cardoso (POR) during the tournament achieved a magic number of international games - 200.

Next 7th European Universities Futsal Championship will be held in Zagreb (CRO) in 2010. For the first time also women competition will be organised in the same time and place.
