EUC Basketball 2009: results
The 9th European Universities Basketball Championship which took place from June 15-21, 2009 in Heraklion (GRE) successfully finished. 15 men and 12 women from 16 European countries participated on the championship. The event was organised on a very high level by the University of Crete, the Municipality of Heraklion and Hellenic Committee for University Sports, and more than 370 participants really enjoyed their stay in the beautiful Island of Crete. The winners became the University of Ljubljana in men and the Russian State Agricultural University in women competition. More information and results can be found on http://basket-eu09.edu.uoc.gr/. Next year the event will be organised in Poznan (POL).
