The 3rd European University Basketball Championship has successfully finished. The new European University Champions are the participating teams from the hosting country Serbia/Montenegro (SCG): University of Novi Sad (women) and University of Belgrade (men). The women's team from the University of Novi Sad beat the University team of Zaporozja / UKR with 79:74. The University of Belgrade won the final against the University of Zagreb / CRO with 107:80.
