The European Universities Badminton Championship in Uppsala the 5-11 of May is almost fully booked. The event will be the biggest EUC-Badminton ever organized in Nordic countries. On top of the individual entries, 19 teams from 14 countries have already registered. March 1st is the deadline for the quantitative entry form as well as the payment for the individual entries. "It is with great satisfaction I note that we have so many teams for this year’s European Universities Badminton Championship. The event is a proud part of the 100 year anniversary of the Swedish University Sports Federation," says Josef Åhman, Secretary General.

The venue for the 2013 EUC badminton is the Fyrishov arena in Uppsala. The arena holds swimming, basketball, handball, floorball, wrestling, swimming, weightlifting and several other sports. The city of Uppsala has the oldest university in Sweden, counting back to 1477, and is also well-known for its great student life.

There are still a few places for the teams' event, as well as individual, so if you would like to participate, please register as soon as possible.
