EUSA Technical Delegate for Badminton Mr Bastian Kruse visited Warsaw end of April for an Inspection Visit to approve the proposed venues for the European Universities Badminton Championship 2015 on the occasion of the Polish University Badminton Championship. After his arrival on Friday, April 26, he was warmly welcomed by representatives of the AZS Warsaw Ms Monika Sobotka and Ms Ewa Piatkowska.

The first day consisted of the obligatory venue visits at the brand new sports hall and the rearranged hotel Gromada. The transport during the event will be arranged by using the Metro running directly from the hotel to the sports hall. The afternoon was used for a walk to the proposed venue of the opening ceremony at the Warsaw university and the old market square.



On Saturday Mr Kruse held an opening speech at the Polish University Badminton Championship on behalf of EUSA to promote the next EUSA events. During the afternoon all necessary documentation of the Technical visit was prepared.



AZS Poland and the Polish Badminton Federation have both big experience in organizing Badminton events, including the World University Championship in 2002 and the European Universities Championships in 2004 and 2008.



Mr Kruse is looking forward to a successful EUC Badminton event in the Polish capital from August 31 till September 6, 2015.
