On the occasion of the 2025 Italian National University Championship in Alpine Skiing in Val di Zoldo, Italy, EUSA met with the local organisers of the upcoming European Universities Winter Championships 2025, which will also take place in Val di Zoldo, as per the very first edition of the event held in 2023.

Meetings and visits were held on 17–18 March 2025, with EUSA represented by Liam Smith, EUSA Sports Events Director and Miha Zvan, EUSA Sports Manager. The sport technical aspects of Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding were further supported by Michele Ventura and Iztok Kvas respectively.

As part of the Italian National University Championship, Snow Volleyball competitions were also organised, with the sport also set to appear on the sports programme again for the 2025 Winter Sports EUC.

Following the successful first edition of the event in December 2023, the local organisers of CUS Venezia and FederCUSI, together with EUSA are finalising updated plans for the second edition, which will be held on December 15–18, 2025. Registrations for the event are foreseen to open in late Spring 2025.
