ESU President visits EUSA Office
After signing Memorandum of Understanding between European Students’ Union (ESU) and European University Sports Association (EUSA) on November 12 in Belgrade, ESU President visited EUSA Office in Ljubljana on November 18, 2016.
ESU President Ms Lea Meister visited the EUSA Office at the occasion of the 11th European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), which took place November 17-19 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She was met with EUSA Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl who gave an overview of the planned activities.
The EQAF Conference opened on the International Students’ Day on November 17 - which focuses on advancing student rights. This year, as part of the #fundourfuture initiative, ESU focused on the global dimension of financing higher education and the struggles students face worldwide in relation to education budget cuts. European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), an annual event co-organised by European University Association (EUA), European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) and the European Students' Union (ESU), is the European conference on quality assurance in higher education that brings together all of the key stakeholders in the field – higher education institutions, quality assurance agencies and students.
Ms Meister and Mr Pisl discussed the upcoming activities of both organisations and identified some specific points of action.
