ESC coordinators training in Zrece
Between October 16 and 18, the Slovenian national agency Movit organised in Zrece a training for coordinators of European Solidarity Corps projects taking place in Slovenia, focusing on the volunteering as well as jobs and traineeships activities. EUSA was invited to share its good practice.
Over 30 participants attended the event, focusing on profiling the opportunities for youth to take part in the activities and opportunities offered by the European Solidarity Projects (ESC), financed by the European Union.
Apart from the input of representatives of the national agency and coordination by the facilitators, exchange of the experiences by the coordinators is very valuable and important. EUSA Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl shared the case of the recent employment with the assistance of ESC, as EUSA Institute received support for hiring two young people earlier this year, complementing the long-term volunteering practice.
