ESC coordinators training in Tuhinj Valley
Coordinators of organisations engaged in European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering projects in Slovenia, attended a training between November 15 and 17, held in Tuhinj Valley.
The training was organised by Movit, the national youth and ESC agency in Slovenia. Participants were coordinators from 25 organisations with Quality label accreditation, who are carrying out volunteer activities within the European Solidarity Corps programme, funded by the European Union.
Coordinators were able to review their activities and strategic planning of ESC-related activities for the programme period 2021-2027. Apart from the strategic planning, the coordinators were given the opportunities and tools to exchange information and experiences, related to their work.
European University Sports Association (EUSA) was represented at the event by its Institute’s Communications and Projects Manager Andrej Pisl, who has been coordinating EVS and ESC projects and activities in EUSA since 2012.
We are currently hosting four ESC volunteers in our office, who will soon attend their on-arrival training – also hosted by Movit. For more information about ESC in EUSA, please visit https://www.eusa.eu/projects/european-solidarity-corps
