Erasmus+ Sport Project Coordinators Meeting
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission hosted an online Project Coordinators' Meeting on February 9 via livestream online, informing the selected beneficiaries - project coordinators of the last year's Erasmus+ Sport call on the administrative procedures, guidance on project management and financial issues.
The meeting started with an introduction and EU Policy by Mr Yves Le Lostecque, new Head of Erasmus Mundus and Sport Unit – EACEA and Ms Marisa Fernandez-Esteban, Deputy Head of the Sport Unit - DG EAC. A series of sessions followed, focusing on the guidance on contractual project management and e-Reporting online forms, followed by a session on financial management, concluding with a topic of dissemination and exploitation.
The event was moderated by Mr Luciano Di Fonzo, Deputy Head of Erasmus Mundus and Sport Unit and Ms Gael Broze, Head of Sport Sector - EACEA. Following the main event, project coordinators also had meetings in smaller groups with their project officers from EACEA. A general meeting for new applicants was initially also scheduled to be organised at this time, but has been postponed and will be organised on March 23-24, after the new Erasmus+ call will be published.
EUSA Institute was also actively participating at the events, as it is leading two projects, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
The first supported initiative are the European Universities Games Belgrade 2021 (EUG2021), where supported part is focused mainly on the development and support of the volunteer programme.
The second supported initiative is a collaborative partnership project Inclusion in Sport (iSport), where the focus is on sport-for-all, especially focusing on (dis)ability, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression.
