Briefly describe how and why you got involved in Tennis?

When I was 6-7 years old, my parents were playing tennis and I started to play with them also. There was a coach who saw potential in me and from that moment I started to train more frequently.

What do you study? How do you balance your study, training and competitions?

I study recreation (basically organizing recreational activities) and health development at the University of Physical Education in Budapest. I have less competitions and trainings than when I was younger, so It’s not hard to balance university and tennis.

Tell us about your experience at the 2017 European Championship of Universities. Is this your first time at an EUSA event?

Last year’s EUSA event in Madrid was my first experience in tennis competition between international universities. It was extremely well organized, everyone was friendly, the competition was exciting and I loved the whole place and the university where it was held. It was perfect.

In 2018 will be held the European University Games 2018 in Coimbra, Portugal, do you expect to be there? Why do you think sports events are important?

Me and my Hungarian team will be there for sure and we’re looking forward to playing there. Despite the cold sweat and rivalry between universities, it’s always great to play and enjoy tennis, plus it’s good to make new friends from all around the globe. Everybody has fun while doing what they love, this is the most important.

This is your chance! What is your message to European students like you?

Always try to see positivity in everything, believe in yourself, smile and never give up on anything. Success will come!
