EMPATIA project partners define steps ahead
Partners of the Erasmus+ project Education Model for Parents of AThletes In Academics (EMPATIA) met online on December 21 for a virtual meeting, plan the next steps in promotion, dissemination and engagement, as well as to conclude some operational and administrative matters for this EU-funded project promoting dual career.
The educational platform which has been developed, is already operational, and is being tested by parents in participating countries. Useful resource materials are offered withing the online education modules in several languages and are available through the official website of the project.
The project was initially set to conclude by the end of 2020, but with the Covid-19 restrictions, it has been extended to next year. The partners will take the extention as an opportunity to further disseminate the project outcomes and promote the unique platform for parents and guardians of talented student athletes, being able to better support them in sport and education.
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and the consortium is composed of 10 partners, representing universities, institutes and sports bodies from four countries and two European networks, including EUSA and its Institute.
