EMPATIA partners meet online, supporting dual career
Partners of the Erasmus+ project Education Model for Parents of AThletes In Academics (EMPATIA) got together online for a virtual meeting on July 1, to discuss the completion of the educational materials, as well as other operational and administrative matters for this EU-funded dual career initiative.
After the research phases, gathering the information from parents and guardians of athletes, the production of the resource materials and its translation is now being finalised. These will be offered as free online education modules in several languages and will be available through the official website of the project.
Covid-19 pandemics unfortunately also affected the planned activities, postponing and modify the meetings of partners and focus groups in the partner's countries. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and the consortium is composed of 10 partners, representing universities, institutes and sports bodies from four countries and two European networks.
