Partners of the Media as a Channel of Athletes’ Dual Careers Promotion and Education (EdMedia) project, met on October 30 for an online meeting, trying to coordinate the final steps of the initiative.

The project aims to pro-actively change the attitude towards an athletes’ dual career by shaping a positive image and encouraging sports organizations to pursue the implementation of the EU Guidelines on Dual Careers of Athletes, especially focusing on the role of the (social) media.



EdMedia is supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and is coordinated by the Lithuanian Sports University, partnering with the European Athlete as Student (EAS) Network based in Malta, Italy’s University of Rome Foro Italico, Romania’s Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, the University of Valencia in Spain, German Sport University Cologne, Slovenia’s University of Ljubljana and the EUSA Institute.
