EC decisions
The Spanish University Sports Federation and the University of Cordoba hosted
the 1st EUSA Executive Committee meeting this year. The meeting took took place
in Cordoba from February 25th-26th, 2005. The EC would like to thank the
organisers, esspecially mr. Vicente M. Orga and his wife for their hospitality.
The following decisions were made on the meeting: STUDENT COMMISSION
The Executive Committee nominated new members of the Student Commission for the next 2years mandate: Ante Karanušić (CRO), Sigrit Altmäe (EST), Tregubova Maria (MDA), Dariusz Dobosiewicz (POL), Carlos De Sousa Santos (POR), Dirk Hähnel (GER) and Anne Kettunen (FIN), while Thomas Rinder (AUT) was appointed as a substitute.
EUC 2005
The EC approved the progress reports of the organising committees of the EUC 2005, set the new dates of the EUC in Badminton (Mainz; 27.10.-30.10.2005) and EUC Football (Niš, 11.07.-18.07.2005) and chanded EUC regulations and Technical regulations in some articles (the new version of the regulations is published on our website). The EC also decided on the revised procedure of the nominations of the Technical Delegates.
EUC 2006
The EC decided to start with organisation of the European University Championships in Handball. The first EUC will take place in 2006. The deadline for the bids for EUC 2006 in all sports is March 31st, 2005. Exceptions are Football, Volleyball and Tennis, who were already attributed to Eindhoven / NED.
SECRETARY GENERAL
The EC appointed MatjaĹľ PeÄŤovnik as Secretary General of the EUSA for a period of 4 years.
