The European Athlete as Student Network (EAS) attended several events in Ljubljana, Slovenia between December 11 and 15, 2014. At this occasion, a meeting between EAS and EUSA was organised.

EAS President Mrs Laura Capranica and EAS Treasurer Mrs Mojca Doupona Topic visited the office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) on Friday, December 12. They were welcomed by EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik and Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl. Together they discussed better cooperation in the future and potential joint projects.



Members of the Executive Board of EAS held their board meeting in Ljubljana and also participated in the 7th Conference for Youth Sport which was held in the Slovenian capital on December 12 and 13. The Conference was also attended by EUSA representatives Mr Pecovnik and Mr Pisl. In the scope of the event a reception in the Ljubljana City Hall was organised.



EAS is the Dual Career Network for European Athletes in Education. The network has been founded in 2004 and has over 30 members.
