Coimbra to host EUSA Judo, Karate and Taekwondo events in 2017

Coimbra, host city of the European Universities Games 2018 will also see EUSA martial arts events – European Universities Judo, Karate and Taekwondo Championships in 2017.

During the EUSA EUG Convention which took place in December 1-4, EUSA Technical delegates for Judo, Karate and Taekwondo also inspected the venues and facilities for the 2017 Championships in Coimbra.

Mr Branislav Crnogorac (Judo), Mr Davor Cipek (Karate) and Mr Noor Shirali (Taekwondo) were met by Mr Mario Santos, Secretary General of the EUG2018 and General Coordinator of the 2017 Championships, along with the technical experts from the national governing sports bodies for Judo, Karate and Taekwondo.

EUSA internal meeting in Coimbra

The championships will be held at the University Sport Center in Coimbra between July 24-27, 2017. Combination of three martial arts will make the event one of the largest EUSA sports event in 2017.
