At the Executive Board meeting of the Croatian Academic Sports Association (HASS), held on February 1, voted in and presented were the newly appointed Sports Director Ms Jelena Matesic and Secretary General Mr Nikola Vincetic. 

Both Mr Vicentic and Ms Matesic, are people who know the system and work of the Croatian Academic Sports Association very well, since they have been working in it for over 10 years and have organized over 30 international university events, including the European University Games Zagreb-Rijeka 2016 and many European Universities Championships. 

The new Sports Director Jelena Matesic is aware of the task before her: "I remember my first encounter with the UniSportHR system - it was in the 2005/2006 academic season, when I participated in the Finals as a volleyball player of the University of Split. From then until today, I witnessed live the enormous development of HASS and the UniSportHR competitions, and I know how far UniSport has come. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my predecessors who brought us to where we are now, and before me is a great challenge to continue that path and justify the trust of the Executive Board".

"It is a great honor for me to take the position of Secretary General in the Association. First of all, I would like to thank the former General Secretary Davor Habljak for his many years of work, and the members of the Executive Committee for the opportunity and support provided. I believe that I will live up to expectations and contribute to the further development of the Association and the new projects", announced the new Secretary Mr Nikola Vincetic

Both Ms Matesic and Mr Vicentic have been close collaborators and part of the EUSA family, so we sincerely congratulate them and wish them best of luck in their new working positions and endeavors.
