The 3rd edition of the European Universities Judo Championship will be organized in France, in the period of October 7-10, 2015. The city of Reims located in famous Champagne region will guest best student judoka from all parts of Europe.

On May 19 and 20, Mr Branislav Crnogorac, EUSA Technical Delegate for Judo and Mr Patrik Perosa, EUSA Sports Manager made an inspection visit of facilities and services which will be provided for all participants.



The members of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), representative of French National University Sports Association (FFSU) and representative of the French Judo Federation (FFJ) showed first the accommodation sites, and both venues were approved.



The main sport complex in Reims will be the place of accreditation centre, catering and competition. The complex is an excellent place to organize not just the EUC but also all kind of top class events.

EUSA representatives together with the organizers decided about the official arrival/departure pick up points, which are the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and the Gare de Champagne-Ardenne TGV train station in Reims.



The EUSA Sports Manager presented novelty in EUC Judo, which will be implemented from this year on. Beside medals for best three in each category, the overall best university will get a cup. University, which will be bring more judoka will have more chances to win prestigious EUC Best University Cup.

France has a long tradition in Judo, and has many medals from Olympic Games, European and World Championships. Surely, with the cooperation of FFJ the event will be organize on the top professional level. Having such good organizational conditions, the new record in number of participants in the EUC Judo will be achieved.
