Cedric Terret re-elected as FFSU President

Cedric Terret re-elected as FFSU President
French University Sport Federation (FFSU) held its Federal Elections from November 25, 2024, to November 29, 2024, and re-elected Mr Cedric Terret as President of the association, with Lola Charbonnier as 1st Vice-President.

23 additional members (11 non-students and 12 students) were also elected to the FFSU Executive Committee, with an additional six ex-officio members for the following 2024-2028 mandate.
 
 
Mr Terret has been President of FFSU since 2021 and recently received, on behalf of his Association, EUSA Most Successful National University Sports Association Award 2023 during last November EUSA Conference in Vienna: a recognition for the NUSA results and the final placements of their participants at the 2023 EUSA European Universities Championships.
 


Currently Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the University of Bordeaux, Mr. Terret holds a PhD in Sports Sciences and a Master's degree in Business Management.
A member of the Executive Committee of the French Federation of University Sports (FFSU) since 2018, he served as President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine University Sports League from 2020 to 2024 and was a member of the Executive Committee of the University of Bordeaux Sports Association from 2014 to 2022.
A former physical education teacher, he is also a judo instructor, a 3rd dan black belt, and served as head of the Bordeaux University Judo Center from 2017 to 2023.
