We are very pleased to confirm Lodz (POL) and Debrecen-Miskolc (HUN) are the official candidates for the next European Universities Games. The two candidates have delivered all necessary materials including the bidding books and have shown strong support from the key partners, host cities, state ministries and universities. In addition, a strong support was shown by the National Sports Federation of the proposed sports in the Games' programme, as well as by National Olympic Committees who are standing strong next to the Bidding Committees.

European University Sports Association (EUSA) will now follow the next confirmed steps and perform the Technical and Evaluation Visits, which will serve to deliver an Evaluation Report to the EUSA Executive Committee to decide on the next host city in 2022 with the possibility of awarding both 2022 and 2024 European Universities Games, during the EUSA General Assembly in Madrid, April 12-14, 2018..
