Call for EUG 2022 Lodz volunteers

The recruitment and registration of volunteers for the biggest academic sports event in Poland - the European Universities Games has started! In July 2022, over 5000 students from all over Europe will come to Lodz to compete in 20 sports disciplines. The event will be supported by over 800 volunteers, including around 150 foreign volunteers.

The European Universities Games is an event dedicated to student-athletes from all over Europe, held since 2012. After competitions in Spain, the Netherlands, Croatia and Portugal, the Lodz edition will be the fifth event of the cycle. More than 1,000 volunteers have been involved in organising previous EUSA Games, each edition attracting big groups of international volunteers.

EUG2022 Volunteering

Anyone over the age of 18 can become a volunteer. Those wishing to volunteer at the Games in Lodz can apply to help in any area related to the organisation of the event, including accommodation, accreditation, sport, media, IT. The full list of departments and the characteristics of the volunteer tasks in each of them can be found on the event’s website. Volunteers will receive an outfit, a set of gadgets and food, and for people from outside Lodz, limited accommodation places will be provided. Volunteers will also take part in a number of pre-event training sessions and will have the opportunity to participate in educational and cultural events during the Games.



The European Universities Games will take place in Lodz from 17-31 July 2022. However, the help of volunteers will be needed earlier, even before the event starts. The first phase of recruitment will run until 31 January.
