Bidding for European Universities Games 2020 still open

Bidding procedure for the 2020 European Universities Games that opened on June 1 already attracted interest and is still open.

The multi-sport university sports competition governed by the European University Sports Association (EUSA), consists of 12 sports for men and women: 8 compulsory (Basketball, Football, Futsal, Handball, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis) and 4 optional (chosen from other sports in the EUC program in the year of attribution).

The first edition of the Games in 2012 attracted over 2500 participants, representing 154 universities from 32 countries and the second edition in 2014 witnessed over 2800 participants from 34 countries, representing 174 universities from 34 countries.



By September 15, interested National University Sports Associations, EUSA members, are invited to send their letter of intention and register for the informative seminar for interested cities that will be held in Ljubljana on October 15, 2015.
