The third edition of AZS Sailing Cup concluded on June 30th in Academic Sport Center in Wilkasy at Lake Niegocin in Poland.
 
The event aims to popularize our common passion – sailing, we also hope that this will be a good step for the preparation of Academic Polish Championship in sailing - says Rafal Jachimiak from AZS Środowisko Warszawa - the organizer of the cycle.

As in previous years, students raced in two classes OMEGA and LASER BAHIA. This time, to competition on the lake waters of Niegocin and Zegrzyńskie was added a two-day competition on the Gulf of Gdansk.

Forty three helmsman from 17 universities participated in this year’s event. Best student-sailor title went to Piotr Chodan from Military University of Technology form Warsaw.
