Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) established AUSF Education and Development Centre, which was initiated and endorsed during the AUSF General Assembly held in China last year. The first meeting of the Board of the Centre was held in the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (CUPES), Beijing, China on March 15, 2015.

AUSF President Mr Xinsheng Zhang, AUSF Vice-President and Chair of AUSF Education Committee Mr Kunning Chen, AUSF Treasurer Mr Cheng Fave See Tow, AUSF Vice Secretary-General Mr Yanqing Xue, President of CUPES Mr Bingshu Zhong, Vice-President of CUPES Mr Jun Xie and Secretariat staff were present at the meeting.



The establishment of the Centre aims to carry out the academic and education programme of AUSF, under the supervision of Education Committee. This meeting mainly discussed the responsibility of the Education Committee, the responsibility of the Centre, the relationship between the Education Committee and the Centre, and the Guidelines regarding the AUSF Training Programme.
