On November 6, Executive Committee of the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) had its second meeting of 2014 in New Taipei City, Chinese Taipei. The meeting was held in conjunction with the 5th Asian University Men’s Basketball Championship and AUSF Seminar.

The meeting mainly focused on three topics. First on AUSF Education and Development Center, which was the executive body and helping hand of Education Committee, assisting the Education Committee to carry out its duty. Meanwhile, it was agreed to recruit members for Education Committee. The nomination will be carried out by the Chair of each sub-region of AUSF and one person from one region will be nominated at the beginning, to guarantee the representativeness of whole Asia.

Second focus was the Amendment of AUSF Constitution. With the high-speed development of AUSF, the EC members and the member federation realized the necessity to amend the constitution. A working group will be set up to collect the amendment proposals from member federations and then carefully study it.
